The question is not whether masks or vaccines work or don't work. The issue is whether OSHA has the authority to require medical procedures as some kind of safety issue that they have jurisdiction over. I think it likely is a 5-4 vote against, with Roberts siding with the lefties.
The WH knows this is DOA with SCOTUS.
2. I'm betting there will be a stay of the order while the lawsuits work their way through the system.
3. Companies may continue to mandate their employees get vaccinated, but they won't be able to claim that it is because of this order if it is stayed. I would also imagine the appeals get expedited given the short time horizon on this issue.
