Are you talking about the boyhood farm? Seems like it's way out in the sticks, and only has a few acres of farmland around it now. Yes, been there.

I just really like his story, so his stuff is one of the first things I insisted on seeing, besides Hannibal, when we moved here.

Not to totally derail, but there are Civil War battle sites, and Santa Fe Trail swales (ruts) in KC, as well. Quite interesting to me.

Best is the WWI Museum.
