It's the same article carried by local affiliates of the "USA Today Network". Looks a bit like a Reuters ot AP Wire story that gets picked up by a lot of local papers.

They are always claiming that mass shootings are "at an all time high" because this is what Doomberg, Giffords, and the rest of the anti-gun crowd are claiming.
Of course, they have to expand the definition of "mass shooting" in order to reach the numbers to fit their agenda.
Most so called "mass shootings" are gang and drug related then toss in domestic cases for good measure and there you go, "all time high" number of mass shootings. Actual mass shooting where the killer picks a random target, or targets some location due to a personal reason, and just sprays lead, are actually very rare.
It is the same BS they do for "school shootings." Every discharge of a firearm on or near a school, regardless of the time of day, or day of the week, is classified as a "school shooting, even cases where the gunshots were hundreds of yards away, but a round hit the school building, is called a "school shooting."

Wait! These mass shooters are criminals who already possess the guns illegally? Many of whom are being released by Soros funded DAs and judges without paying bail?
They are not caused by law biding citizens who own guns legally?
Yes, it makes total sense to take guns away from law biding citizens instead of the criminals who already possess the guns illegally!!
