Biden be put out to pasture in a few months. Just wait for Harris to start a war somewhere in 2022. Book it.

also, biden is going to have little if any influence over crude prices, and gas prices as a result.

PotUS has little DIRECT impact on those prices. But his energy policy can impact prices. Liberalism, like always, will **** **** up.

if biden and harris banned fracking, then you could perhaps envision prices a bit higher. but it's not going to 100/bbl just based on that alone.

fracking is not going to be banned either in the US

Any new regulations on any energy creation will affect things.

"You must now take ONLY bids from short, fat, balding, minority-owned pipe companies."

BOOM! Prices increase.

It is naive to think that a President doesn't influence prices by either smart or dumb policies.

We fracked our way to ~$40 under Obama, I wouldn't expect anything different.

So Biden lied? Well I guess that is to be expected. He said he would ban fracking in the DNC debates. Then he said he would phase out fracking, (and oil & gas w/ the green new deal).

Look for the EPA to begin regulating frackIng out of existence immediately. The oil & gas industry not far behind. Gasoline and natural gas prices will soar hurting low income families the most. The USA will within a year become energy dependent on the Middle East guaranteeing more senseless conflicts costing the lives of our youth.

Oh, forgot coal, any hopes for using coal even if completely clean are officially dead under Biden.

Congratulations Pennsylvania you just won the lottery in destroying your state thanks to corrupt Democratics and MSM. No fracking, no mining, no coal for you.

Bush's wars led us to $150 oil in 2008. I guess no one wants to talk about that?

Yes, I believe he did. Point made.

Just curious, didn't Bush make millions(billions) of dollars in the oil and gas industry. Wonder who profited from $150/ barrel crude?

If Biden slaps a 40 cent tax on every gallon of gas-- the "carbon offset" tax is what I think he is proposing-- the gas prices obviously go up. Consumption then goes down. Production stays relatively stable. So oil prices drop again. He flat out said he wants to transition away from fossil fuels but the bottom line is that we as a planet simply can't.

How you going to make plastics with no petroleum carbons?

Before fracking, oil was trading at $150. It took 1 barrel of oil to get 2 barrels out of the ground. The US had been in a steady decline of production that started in the 1970s. Fracking shattered that.

If fracking stops, the price of oil will skyrocket.

Biden said he would stop fracking and I believe he will. He'll do it via the EPA by using some bogus science to claim it harms the environment. That will be that.

You are forgetting the power of the bureaucracy, in this case the EPA. The EPA hasn't several methods they can use to shut down fracking. Two being restricting flaring, even on new wells, denying permits based on water table concerns. Then if all else fails flat out lying.

The EPA under Obama declared CO2 a pollutant. CO2 is produced by humans when we exhale. That decision cost businesses billions of dollars trying to mitigate CO2 production. A simple stroke if the pen did that.

If the EPA issues a ruling - based on their science - that fracking is harmful to the environment, it's done.

Why do you post on matters that you obviously know nothing about?

OPEC has been trying to kill shale oil in the US from the get go. Good grief, the ignorance is astounding.
