Last week, the media told us that there were tryouts for the Vanderbilt kicker position and Fuller won tryouts.

Game day had her on and they literally just exposed that the first people they called was the women's soccer team and the assistant coach called Fuller without her trying out.

All to fit a narrative.

They're still talking about this? So dumb. It's obvious what it was.
If she had actually kicked the ball and it had gone into the end zone then I would have some respect, but the squib kick exposed the whole thing. Even my wife said something after she kicked it.

I do remember some discussion last week about the lack of tryouts. Something about nobody being on campus because of Thanksgiving... football coach calls the womens soccer coach because he knew they were all there, asked if he had anyone who might be interested, she says yes.

What changed?

kicker from last year was on campus and volunteered to help-- shot down. Starting punter (not on quarantine) not offered shot at kickoff job. Other eligible players on team kicked in high school- again not offered shot. No effort made to start getting eligible a kicker from the men's club soccer team to compete for job.

Complete sham.

The only thing this did not include is the both teams players surround her, cheering her on, as she ran downfield to make the tackle.
