Probably should have an income ceiling, and go to those who theoretically need it the most. Those lines at the food giveaway centers seem awfully long and we have a huge enough deficit anyway.
Any and every opportunity to redistribute some wealth, eh comrade?

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs

When realistic projections of the deficits Harris' ambitious agenda are discussed deficits won't be a concern.

Sure, I don't mind some of my taxes going towards the most vulnerable fellow people in our society, who can ill afford hospital fees in the worst case. Seems like the right, Christian thing to do.
Or, you can be taxed less, and then give some of your own money directly to worthy charities without our wasteful, bloated government serving as the middleman. But that doesn't grow government and expand its power, so it's a non-starter for the left. Better to take people's hard earned income and then use it as a hammering tool to get compliance regarding the vaccine. Very Christian.

The fact is, taking this vaccine is like playing Russian roulette. It's not been tested long enough for safety.

I dgaf how many years you worked in the forensic lab. You are flat out arrogant and ignorant here.

If you believe its OK and want up take it, fine, but get out with your mocking nonsense that's it's completely safe and nothing to be concerned about.
Especially considering how rushed. What is the angle with RNA though?

It is a clinically unproven platform for vaccines. Given how rushed the trials have been, that is a bit unsettling.

From the article: " Despite the unprecedented speed, mRNA vaccines are clinically unproven. No commercially available vaccines use the platform and, until now, it hasn't been tested in large-scale human trials. With COVID-19, that's all set to change."

Thanks. I read it all. Very illuminating. It sounds like a cutting-edge kind of approach to vaccines and this kind of thing, but not in any crazy or reckless sense. But definitely cutting edge and new. Something with many unknowns. And there seems to be some indication it might not "hold" as in given a long protection, but hard to tell.

From what see, experimental enough where if you are not worried about getting covid, you might not want to do it. Its much different from the protein based vaccine approach used for flu. But tested and a sound enough concept that if at considerable risk, its probably okay to take.

Yep, interesting idea but not something I wish to be a guinea pig for since I am not at risk. For those in high risk categories, I wish you all the best and hope it works.

Sure but its a slippery slope. Medicaid, medicare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits. All mostly help those who need it. And in this environment where so many every day Americans are suffering, I wouldnt mind help going their way.

Now if we're talking about rich pensions that give someone 250k a year, and yet they STILL work, sure squeeze the fat out of that

What kind of soy boy dork is afraid of a 99%+ survivable virus?

The virus is harmless for basically everyone. So are vaccines. I'm not afraid of either.

Have you ever had an mRNA vaccine before? Yeah, didn't think so... This is not your typical vaccine. I'll take my chances with the pathetic china virus.

Let me guess, this one gives you double autism?

It gives you double adult-onset autism.
