Joe Biden got 52K viewers for his big speech tonight. Trump could hold a press conference tomorrow in the White House and draw 10x that many, and all he'd have to do is call Bill Barr a great guy who did a great job.

80M votes. Yeah ****ing right.
Good. Make Politics Boring Again. I don't want a reality star as president who is so hung up on his viewership numbers and ratings.

True, that is far worse than a president with a history of deviant behavior around women of all ages and has so much corruption in his family, you have to assume he is going to make decisions that are in the best interest of his family and not the country.
You just described Trump to a T
Do you actually believe the stuff that you're saying or it just sounds fun to repeat what you hear on the "news"? Trump has done nothing but try to help the American people, even at the expense of his own wealth.
That is what cracks me up about the libs I know. I hear the "he's enriching himself is all he wants to do". I've never seen better example of proving yourself to be a grade A moron when people say that. Simply go look at the financials of how his properties were hurt financially by him being President. His hotels were essentially boycotted by the entire left. Then the guy takes no salary, yet he ran for president to get rich!!! He was already filthy rich all you idiots.

Typical lib. Results and facts don't matter, it's all about the feelings. So blindly self destructive.

But hey, you don't have to worry about any more mean tweets.

So you want a president that the country tunes out and doesn't pay attention to what they have to say? What a messed up world you want to live in.

When people go to sleep on Joe they will wake up wondering why they are now property of the CCP trying to figure out wtf happened....They voted for him will be what happened.
He wants a president the media approves of, and therefore tells him that everything is fine and go about his business. No need to pay attention to details or policy. Just trust that dear leader is doing everything for him and all is well.

Yet another foible of mine to add to the list - just enough naivety about the lack of negative coverage about Biden to think he's so articulate and doesn't say stupid things.

Or it could be that I don't think Biden isn't going to be motivated by or crow about his TV ratings, and therefore be less inclined to puffery, hyperbole, and the dramatic, so it may lend itself more to a leisurely perusal the next day rather than watching live to see what he'll say next for effect.
You think the guy who literally launched his campaign on the backdrop of Charlottesville with the lie that Trump thought the hate groups were 'fine people', literally called the President a racist, said that nobody would have died from covid if not for Trump...isn't that inclined to "puffery, hyperbole, drama"?

lol

Just enough naivety indeed.

Yeah I'm sure Joe won't talk about what an amazing job he's doing on a day to day basis while blaming all the problems he faces on mask wearing and "russian disinformation" about Hunter.

I highly doubt Biden will tout what an amazing job he's doing on a day to day basis. Almost none of the Presidents before him in my lifetime have. You do it when campaigning and during Presidential addresses when you tout the administration's accomplishments and vision going forward.

If he's grilled about Hunter he'll respond by denying, deflecting, or whatever his legal team advises. I imagine a fawning press won't press to much in that regard while investigations are still undergoing. The cards will fall will they will based on the outcome of those investigations.

Maybe I'll be wrong and it will be another "me, me, me" administration, but I suspect Biden will not suck all the air out of the room on a day to day basis. He certainly didn't hit the campaign trail with much enthusiasm.

He's done for the country than any president in my lifetime. But let's play along.... nooooo, we'd rather have a corrupt Washington politician who our biggest threat controls. Even better a mentally compromised man who is going to shoved aside to push a radical agenda that will castrate the constitution and rob us of our freedoms. Anyone who spouts such things is one of several things. A socialist fool, a socialist liar or all three.
"What country before ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." Thomas Jefferson

Why would he have to with a fawning press? On the other hand Trump was seeking to counter the non stop Orange man bad drum beat of the MSM. Can you blame anyone for self aggrandizing when they are slandered day in and day out by the loudest voices in the country? I'm not saying he did so with precision or wisely at times, but I don't blame him for spreading out against their extremely biased narratives. Never in our lifetimes has a president been treated so poorly by the press corps.

He wouldn't have to (not that I think he'd do so with a neutral press either).

I didn't use the word fawning accidentally in describing the press.

He doesn't want to have to answer anything under oath until he knows how much can be proven as false. The fact that Dominion has been used to help foreign dictators isn't in doubt unless someone is blind...it's been said openly over the last 8 years by BOTH sides.

All you have to do is YouTube Biden's highlights from his years as VP making stupid hyperbolic statements or gaffes to see that won't be the case. Only now he's older and can barely finish his sentences without struggling. Then there's that elephant in room of how he used his position to help his son and family's financial situation.

I think it's naive to say he will govern like a calm statesman.

He was VP for a "me, me, me" administration. And he used his position as VP for selfish gain, at least for members of his family.

I guess as long as your politicians don't say what they're doing and instead take selfish actions behind the scenes like Obama/Biden then you think it's ok because you don't have to deal with it directly. Oh and they're also on your team so there's that too.

The Democratic Party leadership and MSM have selective memories. The vast majority of the population will never hear this.
