All for the Red States forming a Union let's get the party started
All the states are Red. Only the cities are blue
land doesn't vote

Sadly for land, any idiot who can fog a mirror (as well as several that can't) gets to vote. The blissful ignorance of, and blind acceptance by, the majority of our population is shamefully embarrassing.

My sincerest wish for this country is that everyone, old and young, can experience the pride of ownership (in one form or another) of rural land, and working that land. Jefferson wasn't wrong - the cities are filthy and vice-begotten places, but they are engines of innovation that elevate as well. Still, some things can only be learned the old way. Sadly fewer experience that these days, I think.

We are our best when we know both.

So when this does go to the House on Jan 6 ... republicans in the house who object need:

1. Submit objection in writing
2. Sign by member of house
3. Sign by member of senate

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-trump-congress/u-s-congress-certifies-trumps-electoral-college-victory-idUSKBN14Q25R

https://www.npr.org/2017/01/06/508562183/biden-to-democrats-objecting-to-electoral-college-results-it-is-over

...

So, in a possible scenario...

1. Pence listens to objections that are correctly submitted
2. Pence decides not to allow electors for objectionable states until resolved
3. Democrats Sue to the USSC
4. USSC, just like it did to Texas, rules the Dems don't have standing to object

NO AMNESTY!

in order for democrats, liberals, progressives et al to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things; by pretending "not to know" there is no guilt, no actual connection to conscience. Denial of truth allows easier trespass.

Honestly all the swing states with Rep. state legs should just nominate Republican electors. Be damned about the certification.

Force a lawsuit where they're challenged, the counter will be it's our interpretation. Considering SCOTUS State SC don't give a **** why should they?
txags92

Texas and all the other states that joined the lawsuit should just send 80 electors each for vote for the electoral college. When any other state complains about it, just tell them they don't have standing to challenge how many electors we send.

The SOS will only agree to redactions that look like the original Flynn document release - a bunch of black boxes and 1 sentence.

Technically, it's accurate, but it's old news...

The twitter link with the totals of adjudicated ballots is pretty crazy. However, I need some clarification. If I a ballot is adjudicated does it create a new ballot that is then stored? I am asking because wouldn't a hand recount catch a lot of these ballots that are switched in adjudication?

New ballot is printed out as I understand it.

On this basis, I don't know how you'd throw out any votes where a voter said they are indefinitely confined:

In its final decision, the justices concluded that it's up to each voter not the county clerks or anyone else to decide if and when they qualify as indefinitely confined.

Well if we can count on anything, it's that Democrat voters will follow the honor system.

No time for that. Toss them all
WI Supreme Court just dismissed this idea and Trump's lawsuit entirely.

Quote:

The Campaign does not challenge the ballots of individual voters. Rather, the Campaign argues that all voters claiming indefinitely confined status since the date of the erroneous advice should have their votes invalidated, whether they are actually indefinitely confined or not. Although the number of individuals claiming indefinitely confined status has increased throughout the state, the Campaign asks us to apply this blanket invalidation of indefinitely confined voters only to ballots cast in Dane and Milwaukee Counties, a total exceeding 28,000 votes.

The Campaign's request to strike indefinitely confined voters in Dane and Milwaukee Counties as a class without regard to whether any individual voter was in fact indefinitely confined has no basis in reason or law; it is wholly without merit.

We conclude the challenge to indefinitely confined voter ballots is without merit, and that laches bars relief on the remaining three categories of challenged ballots. The Campaign is not entitled to relief, and therefore does not succeed in its effort to strike votes and alter the certified winner of the 2020 presidential election.

Welp...sounds like next election, we all need to self-identify as "indefinitely confined" in Wisconsin, since nobody else has the right to tell us that we are not.
