I wore my mask when I voted. I don't see what the big deal is. Just wear it & vote.

Maybe you can't see cause you are blind?
No, I'm not.

Look - I think masks are ineffective at stopping the spread of covid. I have an actual respirator and know the difference. That said I'm also willing to go with the flow - I think ties are stupid, but if its expected that I wear one I will do so.

Being able to vote is more important in my eyes* than protesting masks.

But you do you.

* Really wanted to use a blindness pun here but too tired to think one up.

The elderly poll workers show up early and often. Hell yes I'll wear a mask for their sake, whether I think they're very effective or not.

I am too good looking to cover my face up

I'm not gonna rob the electorate a chance to see my face

So many brave and courageous warriors regaling us with the exploits of how they stood up against generations of oppression by refusing to wear a mask as they exercised their hard-won right to vote. You'll almost certainly be memorialized in history books and honored with statues. Congratulations. Heroes, one and all.

I will not be wearing a mask to vote in Harris county. They will have to have the police escort me out.

Just suck it up and vote. I agree with your stance but in this case your vote is too important.
I say get the 5th Court of Appeals to grant an emergency staying order. And if it doesn't come, the governor should be prepared to disobey the order and be very public about it.
Didn't last even a day. 5th Circuit blocked the ruling.

"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill
