I don't mean literally praying does not work but.... tangibly it is just sort of useless in a practical sense and virtue signaling the way people post "thoughts and prayers" for example.
You know posting "thoughts and prayers" does not necessarily mean they actual do think about them or pray right - sure some do and hopefully yes those prayers matter - but POSTING "thoughts and prayers" means nothing and does nothing.
Perhaps I should say POSTING thoughts and prayers on social media. Better?
I'm on board with this, but if you really did pray and you let someone know you prayed (posting) it could help the person you prayed for.
So yes, simply posting T&P does nothing. Praying, and sharing your prayers with the person you prayed for is powerful.
I know you were not trying to downplay the power of prayer, but many are trying to do just that and it is part of a larger anti-christian movement among the progrrssives.

I remember 2016... the way back machine when trump was an unknown entity...I did the same and voted 3rd party as a Cruz guy.... But 4 years later, come on. I have family that did the same. They didn't vote for Trump in 2016 either.
But I've gone from 3rd party to Trump. And hear from more that have done the same than sticking with 3rd party.
