There were 21 victims in total wounded at the scene, police say.

Neighbors described chaos after shots rang out at the party around 12:20 a.m. in the 3300 block of Dubois Place, Southeast.

17-year-old Christopher "Poppy" Brown later died at a nearby hospital.

Since this will definitely not fit any approved narrative, and cannot be used to push gun control, the story will be out of the news within a day. Amazing it was even reported on.

I don't want to sound demented....

But if I had a rifle with a detachable magazine and the people were less than 100 yards away, especially within 50 yards it would be devastating.

Just seems weird that you go through the planning and you can't deliver, same with the Berniebro who shot up the softball team.

You normally have 2-3 dozen people hanging out while you throw a brisket on the pit at midnight?

I don't have a friend or family member I like well enough to spend all day and then all night hanging out with them.

Honestly, it won't stick around this board for very long either. These types of shootings are so common in the black community they aren't really newsworthy or notable, sadly. It is, however further proof of media bias in the coverage of gun crimes.
