Yes it was open and there were a decent number of people there. Almost all of them had a day pass.

A little look back through the way back time machine. Seems like a lot of people here were right about restrictive government actions to "combat COVID". Those restrictions didn't do crap to "flatten the curve" or save lives.

In August of 2020 Abbott was as heavy handed as any of them. He thought he was "keeping Texans safe".
