For those of you following that Larry guy, be careful. He's not doing much of the math himself but taking from a crowdsourced map, which has had multiple major corrections to this point. He's made some very subjective landslide claims, often as a result of math errors or unreasonable assumptions. He moves goal posts often without saying anything. A couple of days ago, he was claiming we were 900k+ votes ahead based on "dem cannibalization" with no hard numbers to prove it. Now he's quiet on that. Not sure how he was part of the white house polling team before, but take his stuff with a grain of salt.

Edit: I still think we win FL, but not NEARLY by the margins he's has been pumping out.

I think what gives me the most hope is the psychological component of voting. There's a huge voting block that do not vote on issues; rather they vote on who they can see being president. That is why an incumbent has a huge advantage in any election because voters have already seen them in that office, so they win a majority of these voters.

The following is pure speculation: In 2016 a lot of these voters voted for HRC because she had been a Senator and had been FLOTUS for 8 years. That vote should switch to Trump this time around. Biden has been in politics forever, but he's never been President.

Also, my sister moved with her whole family to Florida to be in a more conservative area of the country and so their vote wouldn't be wasted in Virginia. That's 3 more votes for Trump in Florida!

This is anecdotal as hell, but my wife is 51 years old and is about as apolitical as it gets. This year, she had had enough, registered to vote, and voted straight ticket red in Brazos County. I suspect there's a lot of people out there like her in 2020. THAT gives me hope.
