What we should really worry about is whether the middle class is shrinking. The middle class is vitally important to our freedom and the economy. Every other country has a disproportionate wealthy class and everyone else is dirt poor. This is not a recipe for success.
our middle class deserves its fate.

Instead of managing its money, it is spend, spend, spend to keep up with the Joneses.

It is living in debt, instead of planning, saving and investing, which is what the middle class ACTAULLY did in the 40s, 50s and 60s.

Wtf is wrong with you? In the 40s, 50s, and 60s you could own a home and have 7 kids on a single income with a blue collar job. Our disappearing middle class has nothing to do with their spending habits

On top of that, those in the 40s, 50s, and 60s had a rather nice pension plan provided by the employer as well as retiree health benefits. So not only wage growth has slowed, people have to fund a much larger portion of their own retirement as well.
We were the only show in the world post WW2

Interesting list below...plenty of Americans here who came from nowhere to become billionaires

Think of how many more are just millionaires or people who simply lifted themselves up to a kick ass life...

The basic argument that healthcare is a right is fundamentally and irrecoverably flawed.

To make it a right requires forcing someone else to go to medical school and then to treat you. Their natural right to not be forced to do something against their will trumps your "right" to healthcare.

more importantly, if we, the taxpayers , are footing your healthcare, you have a social contract to do everything in your power to eat healthy, exercise, and life a clean lifestyle.

that means, you have to exercise, eat healthy, no smoking, mini9mal, if no, drinking.
do not procreate if your family has history of genetic illnesses, etc.

why should I have to pay for your ****ing excesses.

So what? I wish liberals just take care of their own business instead of always trying to dictate their "morality" on others.

I care for what I have and do not care for what Bill Gates has or Bezos has or Buffett has for what I have I have earned.

It is all about envy and jealousy of success that drives the "income inequality" train.

4. Zuckerberg ($71B)

But they won't.

That's over $250B.

Problem solved.
I'm not reading all of this drivel. I just want to know WhyTF these guys should give their money to anyone is they don't want to. Because YOU think they should?

WhoTF are you to decide what they should do with their money.

And what did the govt do to deserve this money?

Or the poor? They should get it just because they are too lazy or unskilled to work for it? Bull *****

How many of those countries have a wealth tax?

How come Germany didn't have a minimum wage for so long?

Sweden privatized their social security and uses the voucher system.

I would bet the majority of those countries listed don't even have an estate tax either.

The wealth tax that will eventually be passed will apply to both liberals and conservatives, so I don't really see your point.

So a federal property/wealth tax. So why do you think you have that right? Punish success and you will see all the rich leave the country. How brilliant.

There are job providers and people who do the jobs. This is factually true regardless of who is providing the jobs.

I don't want the government providing the jobs.

It's pretty simple.

Any of the jobs? How will anything get done in the public sector?

You're being obtuse.

No I'm making a point as to how you are saying nothing. "I don't want the government providing jobs" is just another way of saying "I want small government".

How small? How many jobs should they provide?

The wealthy and business owners have all the risk. Investment in product as well as time to produce and pay for the product development, taxes, legal etc. The workers have no investment except time at work. Why should those with all the risk be taxed to shared with those with no risk or investment.

North Korea and Venezuela have the vast majority of their population at a similar level of wealth. Sounds great until you can't find enough food to eat.

There is a reason one won't let you leave and the other people are trying to leave any way they can. There is a reason almost every country have people flock to America. There is also a reason why there is very very very little Americans who want to give up their citizenships for another country.
