Not the same story I heard on NPR a while ago...

Some guy went to Africa to get infected with hookworms. Cured his allergies plus some other stuff. Now he harvests and sells the sanitized hookworms from his bowel movements.

Who knows. Maybe she genuinely doesn't. Her appealing to Evangelical themes is certainly interesting. It at least shows something less than a full on lockstep with some others. This trait may yet be something that could be worked on.

Thank you, I'm not totally back yet and posting new material but I feel much more positive. Last night I was in a dark, depressing state but after reading the comments, today was so much brighter. Forum 16, both left and right posters, made today much brighter. I'm not ready to create 40 posts a day, but I'm grateful to everyone that posted support. I thank you and everyone that was there when I was at my weakest.

I would have discussions with people like her, mostly when I was in college. It can be exhausting. She has so little real knowledge that it makes it difficult for her to stay focused. Once she realizes she lost, she launches another sound bite and you have to start all over.

It is fun for a while, but then you just lose interest and realize she will forever be stunted intellectually.

Exhausting. That is the best description when having discussions with the AOC's of the world. I can have a healthy debate with the most liberal person even if I completely disagreed with them as long as they put forth some factual information. Then you get absolute dumbasses and sycophants like Beto, AOC, etc and it's not worth the tine.
