WaPo is a joke. Charles Dolan, who's dad is a billionaire, interned at the Bay State Democratic Party & right after graduating moved to DC to work on Capitol Hill as a legislative director for the DNC. In 1983, he was the founding executive director of the Democratic Governors Association. After leaving the DGA, Dolan was a member of Bill Clinton's presidential exploratory committee, then served as Virginia state chairman for the Clinton-Gore campaign in both 1992 & 1996. After winning his second term, Clinton appointed Dolan to two four-year terms as the vice-chairman of the State Department's Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy. Then in 2004 was Kerry's campaign communications director, and then in 2008 was Hillary's Chief of Staff for her 2008 bid against Barry, worked for Hillary as an advisor in the State Dept with she was Sec State, which was when he began making all his Russian contacts at the Kremlin. The Kremlin had signed a deal with a PR firm Ketchum, that Dolan set up while working for Hillary, and in 2012 Dolan became senior VP for public affairs.
If you read the entire indictment, Ketchum was to "handle global public relations for the Russian government" as well as state-owned energy company Gazprom. The indictment states, Dolan "frequently interacted with senior Russian Federation leadership whose names would later appear" in the dossier, such as Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov and then-Russian ambassador to the US Sergey Kislyak. The indictment also says, Dolan and Danchenko were on speaking terms by April 2016, having discussed a "potential business collaboration" involving Dolan's own PR firm, kglobal.
So for WaPo to make the ludicrous statement that "Dolan gave no indication that he was sufficiently committed to any candidate to turn his professional assets toward partisan ends" and "He was never someone I would have ever considered hyperpartisan" is laughable. This SOB is a full blown Clinton crony and had been since they left Arkansas.
