You need a little extra cash for Christmas gifts, so you get a job at Jimmy's BBQ. While making change for a client at the register, you notice what could be a valuable coin in the till. After inspection, you're convinced the coin is indeed valuable and is probably worth around $100,000. At the end of the night you swap the the face valued coin for the valuable coin. All the the coins are removed from the till and deposited in the owners account.

Is this a moral action on your part with respect to the owner? Why? Why not?

I believe the morally correct action would be to cash out the coin and split it with the owner. Depending upon your relationship with the owner and the owner's integrity, that may or may not be possible if you told the owner beforehand.

Are you able to find the customer that gave you the rare coin? You could look at it as the customer overpaid by using that coin and retuning it to them would be the thing to do.
