You might give some context so folks don't avoid this interesting story.
TLDR: Father Crespi was a Salesian monk who collected artifacts in Peru which appeared to demonstrate the presence of Assyrian, other Middle Eastern and Chinese cultural influence. And yes, it is plausible to presume such presence.

So I'm not usually much on Spyderman conspiracy threads, this one is an interesting concept at least, there is certainly SOME claim of Chinese discovery of the America's.

My biggest question would be, does any claim of contact predate smallpox or other extremely deadly plagues in the culture being mentioned? 1492 was quite devastating for the America's, we know it absolutely decimated the populations in very short order. For contact to be plausible, it would have had to come without any similar diseases being spread, and definitely without smallpox.
