Why would a Jesus call himself a Christian? That wouldn't make sense. They were first called "Christians" in Antioch, you know an apostolic church and a church that Paul labored at.

Of course, there's a simple enough explanation. In many other paintings of the Nativity or Adoration we find a shepherd holding his hand to his head in a similar way as he gazes in wonder at a luminous cloud (often with an angel emerging from it). The angel may not be included here, but with some of the original gilding intact, art historians believe that it's almost certainly the same bright cloud. Nevertheless, it does add a fun bit of contemporary mystery to a tour of the gallery.

In truth, many artists inserted symbols into their artworks, random pieces of iconography to please the pious and potential purchasers of their artworks. The object painted here by Ghirlandaio could simply be his interpretation of an angelic presence or a depiction of a brilliant star, for on the left of the painting there's a depiction of the Nativity star. Or, it may, who knows, be an ancient and now forgotten piece of Christian iconography.
Yep. Jacques Vallee, the French polymath, investigated this in detail. Also see the Lubbock Apparition of Mary.Spyderman said:

DEMONS

I think some of you still haven't figured out how God works. God works through people to tell you how much he loves you. Some of these people are what we call 'dead' (we call them Saints) or in the case of the Mother of Jesus - assumed into heaven.
With the blessing of God, she continues her ministry that started when she was a teenager. I don't understand how that can be unsettling for many? Especially Christians who should know better.
Perhaps. Is it possible that demonic entities/forces are ET in origin and not spiritual at all? At least, not in the classical sense. This could very well be one of those issues that the gatekeepers use to justify the deep controlled secrecy? Might be a disruptive topic for many religions.94chem said:PabloSerna said:

There are demonic forces at work, who, through ANY means necessary, want people to pursue ANYTHING other than a relationship with Jesus Christ. Joseph Smith, Muhammed, Visions, UFOs...
There is a apparition site just outside of Halletsville (?) on alt 77. In a pecan grove perhaps? Did you view the RV project involving the incident in Portugal? I found it extremely revealing.UTExan said:Yep. Jacques Vallee, the French polymath, investigated this in detail. Also see the Lubbock Apparition of Mary.Spyderman said:

Did you view the Farsight RV project on Fatima event? It centers mainly on the mother of The Lord Jesus.94chem said:Spyderman said:Perhaps. Jesus Christ is my gatekeeper, gate, and shepherd. I'm not sure what else you're talking about. If you're trying to sell tickets for a ride on Hale Bop comet, I've got socks to put away.
On this Saturday as we approach May 13th, the anniversary of Mary’s appearance to the children in Fatima, let us heed her message to repent, make reparation for our sins & follow Jesus. The world is in peril, we must all repent & beg for God’s Mercy.
