He used to be a conservative, even wrote for National Review. However, over the last ten years ago he has become a raving leftist. Curious if anyone has any insight or opinion on what has happened to him.

Good blog post about the Pro Life movement and Norma McCorvey. I think what he wrote was spot on. As someone who has been involved with the Pro Life movement in Central Texas going back to the mid '90s - it was a shock to hear about her death bed confession. Thankfully, I never hung my hat on her or any one person except Jesus and his Church on earth.

They're more likely to follow Mary Shea.

I don't "follow" Mark Shea, but last I checked, I liked him. He's written some good books.
