A Brave Priest has the intestinal fortitude to call out the USCCB for their unholy alliance with the Democrat party. I'm sure he will be attacked by the lavender mafia's hit squad like the poor priest in Chicago who burnt the rainbow flag, but I appreciate him taking a stand.

When did Jimmy Fallon become a priest?

Seems he would have his hands full cleaning out the pedophiles and people that covered up the pedophiles within the church.

I'm pretty sure most Democrats expect a Catholic priest to parrot Catholic teachings. He's not much of a speaker.

Remove the plank from your own eye and all that.

Am I allowed to be angry/concerned about more than one thing with regard to the Catholic hierarchy? What about Fr. Goring CC... does he have a limit on the quantity of issues about which he is angry/concerned?

Do I need to present a litany of my own sins before I can discuss a different issue/sin?

There is a difference between a discussion and public rebuke, but surely you're just being obtuse.

That's so acute. Geometry jokes aside, he's a priest criticizing the US episcopacy (USCCB). The same episcopacy that has failed us on protecting minors. The same episcopacy that has failed to act towards disciplining themselves and their priests for various sins against chastity (including abuse). So, I'm not so sure he needs to do the whole plank/eye thing. Anyway, there's more to be said having seen this mess from within the Church, but I won't bore you with my own frustrations.

Remember, patriot, what they took from you. Your nation's identity, its religion, and its people are no more. Remember how we got here.

Well... I think that sums it up nicely.

What the hell is this guy talking about?

First of all, 7 years in Texas and he still can't find a barber?

Second, the USCCB has not endorsed any candidate, either implicitly or explicitly. Saying so is simply silly. What this attitude seems to want is to endorse the republicans because of their abortion stance. This is just as wrong as endorsing the dems.

The proper course of action is to make clear what Church teaching on subjects that become political matters without regard to what party that hurts of helps, which is generally what the USCCB has done.

Now, the current pope and some of his fellow travelers in the Conference? OK, that I'll buy.

Any Catholic politician who uses their power to support abortion needs to be under church discipline.
