I like to think the Messiah has a sense of humor. Pretty much if Jesus were to come back today I hope he'd be wearing a t-shirt with the image of Himself holding the baby dinosaur.

I like to think Jesus has a sense of humor too...about his suffering, punishment, death, and experiencing the wrath and displeasure of God for the sins of his people. I know there's a joke in there somewhere.

It doesn't bother me - I just prefer to acknowledge Jesus's death as a serious matter. I would imagine His followers that were there at the time of crucifiction weren't making jokes about it. This is no didferent than the "Jesus is my homeboy" shirts..... just not appropriate for the King of Kings. Again, my opinion only.
