Recently stationed to Ft. Carson and was hoping to find a home church to get rooted in.

Choosing a church in Colorado Springs must be about like choosing a bar in the French Quarter. Must be 10,000 of them.

If you are willing to drive an hour, I highly suggest Hope lutheran in Aurora.

Otherwise, closer to you is http://www.mountzionlutheranchurch.com

I was at Carson for the last 4 years or so up until last spring. Loved the area. Lots of stuff to do, make sure you take advantage of it while you're there.

Welcome and thanks for your service. Wife and I moved to the Springs this past fall and love it. Spent most of the fall trying different churches and landed on Woodmen Valley. We go to their campus out on the northeast side of town and they also have their main campus up close to 25 and Rockrimmon.

Their are tons of churches and we only scratched the surface. If you'd like to come one Sunday feel free to email and I'll be happy to save a seat. You can email me at username@gmail if you have any other questions. Good local Aggie group is around as well.

Stay away from Ted Haggard's church, New Life Church.

It used to be the biggest and most famous church in CO. Springs. Now it's just the most infamous.
