I'll qualify this with the fact that I'm only 37 and went down a rabbit hole tonight.
Chester Bennington had a range and vocal ability that has never been seen. One of his best friends had the same in Chris Cornell. And thinking back to 2017, it kills me we lost both to their own hands within a couple months.
I've literally been on a 3 hour wormhole on performances/reactions/etc to "Crawling" including that near final performance before his death (added below)
Again, he's not stereotypical in his abilities, but that's so haunting knowing what happened less than a month later.
