This song/style isn't really typical of their fun upbeat shows, but I think he could sing opera and this just sounds amazing to me. This song was a pretty big hit on the country charts back when they had more of a Nashville country sound.

Ok.. so this is pretty random and rare.
If anything, it's a really cool example of how someone can write a song, and it not really amount to anything until it's reborn with a certain group of people at the right place and time. 6 years later.. this one sure did.

It's Maynard, 1987 pre tool, singing a song that basically is the song Sober.
