The original cast shows up in cameos. But this cast is absolutely freaking nails. So so great!

Taika was in the first episode for this season. Jemaine made appearances last season (as did Taika). I was so hoping to see Rhys Darby with the werewolves last season but no dice.

As an aside, I love all things Matt Berry so considering my love of the movie and adding him into the mix, this was always going to be a hit for me. But the rest of the cast is also fantastic!

Surprised there is not more love for this show. The first two episodes were great. The intro to the second episode was hilarious. The duplication cape was awesome too.

Colin Robinson trying to pick up the gym teacher in episode 2 was one of my favorite tv comedy scenes since some of the always sunny bits.
