Best album? Sticky Fingers.


(Saw them in DFW for the Steel Wheels tour in 1990 at the Cotton Bowl and in Barcelona at the Olympic Stadium in 2017. I hope Keith Richards makes it to November)

I can't listen to Gimme Shelter without thinking of that epic (and very pregnant) backup singer and her stress-induced miscarriage she had when she got home from recording. Heartbreaking.

Always liked playing "Paint it Black" when I was in a band.

"Angie" is probably my favorite Stones song though. I like "You Can't Always Get What You Want" too.

As others mentioned - we were also at Steel Wheels 89 in the Dome. The roof of the dome was lit in red and there was a giant Mick shadow overhead as they started Sympathy. Chills.

I'm partial to Tumbling Dice as well, but would have no argument with at least 6 or 8 others.

Howeverif the Stones don't do Tumbling Dice, then one of the best covers ever wouldn't have happened, and that would have been a shame as well.
