I was driving to Arkansas a while ago and Satellite radio had a special limited Beatles channel. They were doing a Beatles best countdown and I listened to it the whole way.

That was #1 on the Rolling Stone list too.

The fact that #100 is Hello, Goodbye (a really good song). is amazing

After watching that doc on Hulu with Paul and Rick Rubin, I think this is the only correct answer

Did you see the movie where everyone somehow forgot the Beatles ever existed? This one musician remembered, so he started playing Beatles songs and became a huge star.

The entire movie is an homage to the greatness of the Beatles catalogue.

From a nostalgic perspective "Yesterday" is my favorite Beatles song ever. I remember hearing my dad play it on the guitar when I was a kid. It's just a perfect tune.

A Day in the Life and Hey Jude share the top spot for me.

If any of you have small kids, you should check out Beat Bugs on Netflix. Nice cartoon where they sing Beatles songs.

Pretty much any list I've ever seen has A Day in the Life at the top. It is pretty epic.

I think the most accurate list is put out by the xm beatles station.

I realize this is asking for best, not favorite, but Something has always been high on my list. I'm a George guy.

It's hard to call that the best Beatles song when the best version was the Clapton version at The Concert for George. However since that had Clapton, Paul and Ringo on it and that was 3/5 of the the original I guess it counts. Not to mention Elton John playing backup keyboard.

Never gotten the love for Day in the Life. I mean I like it, but I don't see why it's so far ahead of the rest of their catalog.

Of the really well known songs Eleanor Rigby, In My Life or Something have to be considered their best ever which leaves out a large number of great songs.

Lesser known (underrated maybe?) that are personal favorites






Not sure why but much later in my Beatles fandom I came to really love
