Thought Ken Jennings did a nice job considering his experience but his pedigree carried him.

Executive Producer, Mike Richards was outstanding. Talented, sharp and very likable.

Katie Couric has been hard to take. Very nice lady tho. Please stop.

Tbh I didn't think Mike Richards was that great. He was a little stiff and game play didn't flow well with him. His obviously rehearsed use of the phrase "We were looking for..." whenever the contestants answered incorrectly was grating. He was still miles ahead of Katie Couric though.

Ken Jennings has been the best thus far IMO. Looking forward to seeing some of the other guest hosts.

Just watched an episode with Mike Richards from a couple weeks ago, and they missed the normal timing of the first commercial break by a couple questions and that really threw me off. I had already started to fast forward before I realized it.

I thought Jennings was very good also but you have to remember Richards was somewhat unexpectedly thrown into the position in order to continue producing new episodes. By the end of his two weeks he was much more comfortable. On the other hand, he also had some great games during those two weeks which could have added to why I thought he did so well.

I hope they don't go the 'entertainer' route and bring in somebody like Steve Harvey. Hope they stick with the Trebek style of staying out of the way and letting the clues and the contestants be the star.

Also, you gotta have some serious smarts to host Jeopardy. This isn't 'Name Something You Hide In Your Bedroom Nightstand' entertainment for mouth-breathers.

Couric has been torture to watch. She is slow and expands on things that do not need expanding. I can't remember this many jeopardy rounds ending by time running out.

The show is about trivia with minimal fluff. It needs a quick and robotic host, not a personality.

Mike Richards so far has been my favorite. I thought it should be ken but he was like Pinocchio up there, wooden. Mike was funny, warm and smart. He needed to vary up some of his canned responses but that comes with experience. Katie has been woeful and time will tell on the others. Given the list, I think it would be fun as hell to have Norm as the host. I honestly think he'd do a great job in a short span.

I'd be happy with Jennings or Richards. I wouldn't be surprised if they go Richards full time with Jennings serving as an occasional fill in. Couric has been predictably awful

Ultimately you need a host who cares and is passionate about the subject for something like Jeopardy. Haven't watched since Alex passed but not surprised at all to hear Couric sucks. It's a hosting job for her. Nothing more.

Mayim Bialik has a PhD in neuroscience from ucla. She is probably a bigger nerd than the contestants.
