Premiered on Netflix a few days ago. Doesn't seem to be getting the best reviews and is fairly predictable, but I liked it a lot.
The cast is very good and it feels real enough to make you care. Glenn Close is great as the old grandma who's been through it all and tries to keep things together. The casting of Owen Asztalos as the young JD character may be the best match I've seen to an older counterpart, if that makes sense. It's easy to believe they are the same person separated by just 10 or 12 years.
Also appreciated that they told the whole story in just two hours rather than drag it out into 4 or 5 episodes, which they could have easily done.
