Started thinking about this randomly...I'll list them all here but pick your favorites (can be more than one) that you enjoy or simply cannot stand. Here's the list (in order of release date):

Personal Favorite: Wayne's World...everything about this film is amazing and I simply don't see any flaws at all.......also Coneheads...for some reason I just loved this movie growing up.

I never saw any of the terrible ones but I've heard Pat is by far the worst on this list.

Well Pat was the worst of those skits, but I didn't even know there was a movie.

Blues Brothers and Wayne's World are 1 and 2 for me and likely most folks. I remember Coneheads being all right but I feel like the most memorable thing about that movie was RHCP's 'Soul to Squeeze' on the soundtrack. Ladies Man had some funny moments but overall wasn't great. I turned off Roxbury and MacGruber. The rest I never saw.

Stuart Small Saves His Family made 912k. It ranked 217th at the box office that year. Lol.

As bad as that is, the Pat movie made $60K. It was so bad the studio pulled it from theaters after one week.

I had never heard of Stuart Saves His Family and would've left it off this list had I not looked it up.

And while I hadn't seen it I had heard MacGruber was actually decent borderline good

Night at the roxbury was enjoyable for what it was. Same for macgruber.

If you went into those movies expecting anything other than what you got, that is on you.

Frankin mentioned it in a sketch once, talking about how badly received it was, but I thought it was a bit and he was referencing a movie that didn't exist.

My wife and I like Superstar a lot but it's one of her favorite SNL characters from back in the day. It's not a bad movie, although not as good as the Wayne's World movies or Blues Brothers. I recently saw coneheads on tv for the first time and it was pretty funny. But maybe that's just because a lot of stuff now is total crap so it looked good haha. I LOVE the Blues Brothers movie but have never seen Blues Brothers 2000. How is it? Worth my time?

Surprised they never did a Church Lady movie. That was a really popular skit.

The only thing I remember from the Stuart Smalley movie.

The parts of the movie I've seen on tv looked very different than sketch. Not only less funny, but borderline depressing. To be fair, I saw those bit out of context.

Superstar was a funny sketch, I just never saw the movie or most of the others mentioned. Waynes World and WW2 were the only ones I actually went and saw in the theater.

I was a huge fan of the character when he started doing those sketches. The movie is the good kind of bad, like most SNL movies I enjoy it but I don't go out of my way to find it.

The problem that almost all SNL skits run into is while it might be a funny premise or character, trying to extrapolate that into a 90 minute movie rather than a 4 min sketch takes a real premise and idea. And most of the ones in the 90s had already been beaten into the ground by going to the well too many times in SNL and already weren't funny.

A Matt Foley movie that covered his upbringing would have been great
