So I watched this series because I ran out of stuff to watch because COVID.

Ugh. It was entertaining but also annoying.

Lorelai needs professional help, badly. Every decision she makes in her life is made to annoy or avoid her mom.

How'd this show run for so long? Is it just me?

I think it is a fabulous show

People always scream about how shows are not representing the average American


And much of the show is not average American

But it is something so many people scream is never seen on tv

It is very Pro-life

The SO typically has Gilmore Girls or The Office on in the background when she's working. From what I've seen of the show it's actually pretty well made, and I love the actual dialogue but my biggest complaint about it is the responses are just too quick. You can have all witty characters, but you can't have them churn out witty responses mere milliseconds after the other characters comment.

Terrible show that glorifies single motherhood.

Society would be better off without shows like this. This was the first bit of that slippery slope that got us to Teen Mom and degenerate losers with 5 kids from 3 different baby mama's living in public housing spreading disease to everyone they come in contact with.

And she is exactly what our forum 16 posters demand.

She took responsibility for getting pregnant. Busted her ass. And then asked family for help to get her girl the best education possible

Well, luckily God is in charge and we are getting ready to evict at least one degenerate with 5 kids from 3 baby mama's living in public housing and will have a Christian back on the White House come January.

Nice, woodsy, backdrop with touching, introspective, dialog about interpersonal relationships.

It is like Northern Exposure without Maurice Minnifield and Holling Vincouer to add testosterone.

Lorelai's character made a lot more sense in the earlier seasons when she was like 32. As the show progressed, she became almost unlikeable.

Rory turned into a monster over the course of the show.

My wife goes to sleep with it on. When it ends, it starts again. I don't actively watch, but I see enough to know that

1. It's a well written show that gives its target audience exactly what it wants

2. It's ****ing annoying as hell and I want to strangle all the actors

I basically pick some mildly entertaining, long- running show and play it one episode after another while I work. This fit the bill.

That our a show that I really like but have previously watched... like any form of Law &Order.

I loved the GG when it aired, but am having trouble on the rewatch for the reasons stated above.

I stopped rewatching so that my memories could stay positive.
