There's a 2 player version with just a map of italy on the back of the board. Only A, B, and C tiles are used and only decks 1 and 2 are in the draft pile. Still lots of fun. I've never actually played it with more than 2, but I'd like to. I just feel like we would have a huge advantage over a new player since we play it all the time and it's not the easiest game to pick up right away.
