To his question that he asks about the brother mentioned at about the 9:00 minute mark that he doesn't know connection, and asking viewers to opine, I have a guess or speculation. The Romulan mentions his brother was lost a year ago. The disaster of the whole story and the super-nova was a year ago - Picard's interview "is the anniversary". I think it may well be the villain Nero, or someone aboard Nero's ship from Nemesis Star Trek X which this episode is starting after (the destruction of Romulus by super-nova. What do you all think?
