I didn't see a thread on this yet so I started one.

This was a great comedy special. Felt almost like he was back between the "what the hell happened to me" and "weekend update song guy" Sandler. Loved how he worked his jokes into songs that actually were funny.

I can't say I was a fan of his stand up, but I did enjoy the special on a late weekend night. Silly but endearing. It's not traditional standup, veering towards one man show (ok, two man), but a fun watch if your of that generation.

I thought it was hilarious and really well done. The way they put it together - cutting mid-joke or song to another city/location - was really cool. I also loved how he was cracking up at his own songs, the Sand Man just realizing how stupid they were.

I'll watch this but that might be the worst trailer I've ever seen to get me excited to watch standup. I know on the flip side there could be "all the funny parts were in the trailer" but that trailer had nothing!

I loved it. It felt like the Sandler I remember from high school. I used to listen to those dumb comedy albums not stop. This was the same kind of stuff. I also got a whole lot of sentimental at the end.
