Had a conversation at work yesterday about movie quotes in everyday conversation.

What movie quotes do you find yourself using frequently?

My sister and I say, "...so that's how it is in their family..." from Ferris Bueller. Tombstone is also widely quoted between us.

Ha. Y'all hit both of mine already. Wife and I quote Dumb and Dumber and Anchorman on a daily basis.

In fact, about 25% of my text responses is something from Anchorman.

This exchange happens at least once a week:

Wife: Ron, are you paying attention?

most of the time I use quotes when talking to my kids.

They're going to grow up, watch these movies and it's going to sound strangely familiar.
