This is an impossible topic, but I'll spend the rest of the day thinking about it.
First thing that comes to mind is Boston - Don't Look Back. I remembered it faintly from my childhood but it wasn't on Boston's first album, so I thought I was mistaken. Then one day I heard it on a bus, listened closely for a few lyrics, hurried back to my dorm and googled it. Reunited at last!
If your talking solos game over, it's Jimmy Paige Stairway to Heavan and Freebird played by Allen Collins and Gary Rossington with a STRONG 2nd from Eddie Van Halen in Eruption.
If you're talking riffs, then again, Stairway to Heaven because what is the first riff you learn? Second has to be Cult of Personality by Vernon Reid of Living Colour with a few honorable mentions for riffs by Mick Mars of Motley Crue, Stone Goddard of Pearl Jam, Jay Yuenger of White Zombie and Peter Townhend of The Who.
Racing is life. Anything before or after is just waiting.
