I prefer it too. I also dislike trailers giving away too much of the plot, or robbing big moments of their impact within the context of the movie

Nolan is pretty good about not doing that, IMO.

I don't play the game, but it's not just 12 year olds playing. It's got a huge player base in the 17-34ish range. They've been doing live concerts in game lately, but I'm not sure how a movie trailer will translate into the medium

Yea seems smart to me. Huge audience that will see it on the game, that otherwise may not see it or pay attention to it. And everyone else who isn't on the game will still see it as well.

There are *some* rumblings that the trailer might NOT go up officially on YouTube immediately after. Could be hours or maybe even days later. I don't know why they'd do that, but it *is* Nolan, so just be sure, you might want to catch the Fortnite feed...

This is so f/cking weird. I've never once seen even a second of Fortnite, and have no clue how/where to even play it. But glancing at this feed, watching a video game ninja watching a video game movie screen while all this other weird sh/t is going on - all to watch a damn movie trailer - makes me feel like I've been transported to some kind of dystopian anime hellscape.
