Same director as Bone Tomahawk, a badass movie, for anyone that has seen it.

Netflix or Amazon Prime is how i originally watched it, but it looks like it has been taken off of both. I only see it for rent on Amazon.

Watched Brawl in Cell block 99 last night. Thought is was great. Total Grindhouse movie for anyone expecting anything highbrow, but the title kind of gives that away.

Watched both of them last night. Probably liked Brawl better than Bone, but both were great flicks.

Anybody else thought it would have been funny as hell if he would have winked at the warden there at the end?

Oh man, fun movie, and definitely up there violence wise with Bone Tomahawk. Vaughn had some outstanding fight scenes too. Enjoyed this one, though I don't think there was any reason for him to have a southern accent, that's about my only gripe on this one.

And Don Johnson was awesome as the warden.

It was awesome. Great for those who are looking for two hours of mindless entertainment after a long day at work. Warning.....there are a few gruesome scenes.

Also, the next project the director is doing is a movie called Dragged Across Concrete starring Vince, Debra Morgan, Nash Bridges, and Mel Gibson. Here's the plot:

It didn't go as far as a certain part of tomahawk I remember, but there were some violent scenes that I'm sure others would consider gruesome.
