So I finished up the season this week, and I just was not a fan of the future storyline at all. While Hydra is getting a little long in the tooth in the show, I feel like the show is at its best when dealing with those kinds of storylines.

Overall, without Coulson, I kind of which the show ended with this season.

Just finished the season on Netflix. At points, it felt like the writers assumed this was the last season so they were just giving a thanks to all the fans. I'm pretty sure they brought back almost every major cameo feasible. And nods to all sorts of other past events from the past five seasons (Deathlok program, Centipede, etc.)

I agree w/ above where Hydra was a little overplayed, and yet SHIELD needs its Hydra.

I wonder if next season will morph from SHIELD into SWORD.
