Just watched Casino Royale for the first time in a while, forgot how awesome it was when Bond chased the Nigerian from the cobra/mongoose pit thru the construction site and into the Nigerian embassy. That's my pick for best foot chase in a movie. What do you got?

Saw the thread title and came here to mention Casino Royale. You may have ended your thread by starting it.

Damn I think that the Casino Royale one may be my favorite. Trying to think of one I like better.

Baby Driver has a pretty fantastic one but I don't think anything can top Casino Royale

The rooftop chase in Bourne Ultimatum is pretty legit. It ends with a hell of a fight, too.

I've actually been researching foot chase scenes recently for a project I'm working on, so I've got a pretty good frame of reference here.

For sheer scale, intensity, and adrenaline rush it's tough to beat Casino Royale. A few others worth mentioning...

- Point Break was kind of the gold standard for foot chases for a long time. Still holds up well, really well shot.

- The Bourne Legacy has a great sequence through the slums and across the rooftops. The one in Ultimatum (I think? Morocco) is also fun.

- Hot Fuzz has a super entertaining and surprisingly action packed chase when Sgt Angel goes after the kid stealing from the supermarket

- Raiders of the Lost Ark is another classic as Indy chases after Marion in the basket

But yeah, the really good ones are few and far between. Kingsman has a fun parkour bit and there's some similar sequences in some more obscure films like District B13, but most modern films focus much more on car chases than strong foot chase scenes.

The Meaning of Life (Monty Python).

The closing scene where a gang of topless roller derby girls foot-chase a perp over a cliff. he falls to his death, and wakes up in heaven just in time for a vegas style chorus line of topless showgirls at a big ballroom banquet dinner.

In all seriousness, if we can count it, the Mt Rushmore scene in North by Northwest is pretty iconic.
Some other iconic ones:
The metro scene in Charade
Pretty much all of Die Hard

Collateral had a pretty good one too, with Tom Cruise after Jamie Foxx and Jada Pickett Smith at the end of the movie. One of my favorite Tom Cruise films as well.

Enemy of the State does have a great one, I did spend some on the one In Se7en as well (there's some great analysis on that one on the web).

Jackie Chan has some good ones as well, I remember Rumble in the Bronx in particular.

Few others I thought of this evening:
- Winter Soldier
- Captain America Civil War
- Fury Road

My Aggie buddy & I drank with the biker guy at The Hollywood Improv. Then went to Long Beach the next morning to see him beat up 3 sparring partners as he had a fight 3 days later. Great guy, funny stories.

I really like some of the scenes already mentioned, but I'm a little surprised that nobody has mentioned the last fight scene from Last of the Mohicans. Epic, unique, heartbreaking, incredible movie-making.
