Oh cool! The whole time we were watching, wife and I were like, wow, can't believe this isn't a movie. There were bits where if it had been in a movie I would have laughed at how unbelievable it was.

American Experience is kind of my go to when I can't find anything else I want to watch. Right now if you have the PBS app (like on Roku for example), they're playing a 3 part, 5 hour American Experience episode on World War I. Must watch tv; I was amazed at some of the things I hadn't learned over the years.

Is it related to Boys in the Boat? Or a completely different telling of the same story/team?

Pbs site says 'inspired by the book', and Daniel James Brown is one of the talking heads

Wasn't Jurassic park just added last month? And now it's being taken away? Or am I remembering wrong...?

Yeah I have the ww1 series dvr'd, will watch in in the next few weeks. Now that I know Sherlock is going away from Netflix that is the priority.
Hopefully the movie actually gets made, it's been in development for a while, but there are some good names rumored to be attached. Weinstein definitely has the rights, but most info beyond that is sketchy, that's why I had started the other thread. Would seem they will make it when they want or needs an Oscar type movie, that's what that is destined to be if done right.

Definitely, it could be a really great movie (if done right, as you said).

I feel like rather than an opening card saying "based on a true story", this one would need a shot just after it ends that just cuts to black and says "no seriously, that's what happened!"

Sucks about Scrubs. Time to buy some DVDs.

Agreed with the Bloodline folks, S2 definitely wasn't on the level of S1 but I'm curious to see if they find their way again.

Also intrigued to check out Sense8 S2, the show is more than a bit gratuitous but the first season was really interesting and had some cool concepts.

No stream has Pysch.

Oh how I wish Psych would come back to Netflix. Luckily I got all the way through it before it left but man, all I ever want to do at the end of the day before bed is plop down and check out with a random episode of Psych.

Scrubs isn't nearly as good without the original music selection though. The DVDs are definitely a worthy investment.
