Anyone watch this? At first I wasn't sure if I would like it. Never read the book. Watched the first episode yesterday and finished the last one today.
This is why I did not like the book.TXAGFAN said:
Pretty vapid main character...I'm embarrassed I watched most of it while doing some work around the house. Some terrible things happened to her and in the end they laid out the progression (breaking her spirit, her soul, etc), but I found a lot of the episodes to be pretty melodramatic. Also, all this "no one helped her" nonsense seems a bit silly, lots of people tried to help her. She was just insufferable and wouldn't take it.

So the only point of that photographer kid and his stash of guns was to set up a school massacre season 2 right? They left a few dangling threads in a next season direction, but that one seemed the most out of leftfield to have been for any other purpose.

From what I read online, the show goes into way more detail than the book. If there is a season 2, I don't think it'll be based off the book.dromo07 said:
Really disappointed in the ending. Haven't read the book but I am guessing there will be a season two due to all the non closure
It was a build up all season long. Kinda like Hannah's was a build up. Mostly guilt I'd say.Quote:
Also what was the dang reason for Alex to commit suicide? The scene with the stocker kid and the pictures made it feel like he was the one that shot him.

I agree. It would definitely be rated TV-MA if it came out on cable.

The power of the binge.
I think I have 3 episodes left.aggiesportsfiend10 said:
Have you finished the show? Because it seems the answer to your question of what might be seen as traumatic, beside the crotch shot from Justin/Bryce, is pretty obvious.
