I scanned Netflix for some bad action movies yesterday and was caught off guard by all the Bruce Willis flicks I had never heard of. Is he going the way of Nicolas Cage, doing just about every movie offered to him?

Don't get me wrong, I killed a few hours with Cold Light of Day, Fire with Fire, and Extraction.

That got me thinking, what has he done since Live Free or Die Hard? A lot of bad movies is what.

A quick IMBD of Nicolas Cage is really bad. His list is much longer.

Planet Terror was the Robert Rodriguez part of the Robert Rodriguez/Quentin Tarantino double feature (Death Proof being Tarantino's contribution). Not that it's a fantastic film, but it does what it sets out to do.

Don't think it fits the rest of your list.

I've heard stories from some actors who say that they will take all of these small, more straight-to-video-type movies not because they so much need the money, just that they feel the need to always be working. Keeping busy with all these roles keeps them from doing things they maybe shouldn't be doing because they're bored.

Not all B movies are bad, I enjoyed them. It caught me off guard that there were so many I had never heard of. I have always seen Bruce Willis as a blockbuster actor so seeing the direct to video type movies was eye opening.

Like previous posters have said, some of those roles and movies don't exactly fit his CIA-sniper-badass-policeman-grumpy old man mold, but a lot of them do.

I guess it would really tick yall off if I said I'm not a fan of most Quentin Tarantino movies. Just doesn't do it for me. There are a couple I enjoyed, but his name does not draw me to see a flick.

I didn't know, people seem to be more critical of time travel movies in my opinion. Like we don't care about how a car in a Fast and Furious movie can jump a bridge perfectly, but every minor intricacy of time travel must be nailed down before we can even start considering the movie good.

I didn't like Looper for more than just a time travel pet peeve, but I thought Willis was pretty good in it. Could have used more of him and JGL in the same scene, since it happens like once.

I like the Sixth Sense. One of the finest ghost stories.

The Introducers with Nichole Kidman is about as fine a ghost story as their is. She carried the movie. She should have won some type award for that.
