Arrow season 5 begins Wednesday the 5th. Who is going to watch the season?

I plan to DVR a few episodes and not watch them live this season to see if they can improve at all from last season. I will admit that the second episode "The Recruits" has be intrigued because we are apparently going to get a new Green Arrow sidekick Artemis with the new team.

Thea was still as annoying as ever, but I guess we're kind of stuck with that.

Feels like they hit the reset button here on the series, which is both good and bad. It's good because most of the relationship drama is gone. It's bad because we will have to go through the teething drama of building a new team.

Didn't get to finish it all last night. But 30 min in it def feels like a bit of a "reset button". They even went back to his long sleeved look, and did away with the gay cutoff outfit.

I think this is the first time in a long while that I enjoyed an episode of Arrow more than the Flash! And I liked the premiere of Flash!

I'll skip on Legends of Tomorrow until the crossover. I'm binging Supergirl and really liking that. Hope that Superman is done right.

Not really. Thea was struggling killing last season and Felicity has always had the "killing is sometimes necessary" attitude.

Felicity was basically the one that said you know what you gotta do in regards to DD.

I personally prefer the darker Oliver that takes out the trash, way less cheesy and corny.

F also said that about Ra's, and multiple times in the Flash crossovers in their first season.

I do love the awareness of the writers when it comes to pop culture. Oliver defending the hockey mask and saying "I think it's cool" was funny. He plays Casey Jones in TMNT, for those not aware.
