Keith Urban isn't bro-country at all. He's always pushed the envelope for sound...and while his latest couple of albums have more of a pop/rock feel...he's a very talented singer/songwriter and guitar player. He has a sound and style all to his own.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of what he does but I have a lot of respect for his musicianship and overall talent.

Very cool that he got best album nomination. I figured there would be one 'alternative' pick, a little surprised that it wasn't Bowie or maybe Radiohead. But good for him. No way Lemonade doesn't win, but I'm guessing Sturgill will see a nice bump in sales from this.

Wife and I saw Sturgill in Nashville in October at the Ryman. Easily one of the best shows I've been to. No opening act, no encore, no BS.

Beyonc will win because that's the world we live in today, but Sturgill should win it running away. Beyonce's voice drives me insane. Kelly Rowland had a much better one. She was just worse at wh00ring herself out.
