This is how I feel about the mcu now. It is getting to the point where it's like the comics, crushed under the weight of their history and success. I never could really get into comics for that reason as I want to know more or felt like I was missing out on something by not reading every crossover or back issue or side project.

I wonder if there is some kind of legal thing that says he can't wear the costume off set or whatever.

I've been this way for a while. In fact, this is the first time I've even visited this thread in, I'm guessing, a year or so. I think the last MCU movie I watched was Love and Thunder and the last Disney+ show I watched was She-Hulk (yes, I actually watched that and didn't think it was all that terrible).

Not sure where that even leaves me right now on what is outstanding but there are at least 3-4 movies I have yet to see and a couple of Disney shows, I think.

I just can't manufacture the desire to watch them.

Also, I didn't realize Agents of Shield and Agent Carter got decanonized. Never saw either of those outside of a few of the former.

Hilarious. Will they re-release it in 3D next Halloween?

I remember thinking to myself, "Holy crap the only reason this wouldn't carry a MA or R rating was due to it being black and white cause of the violence/blood."

Really intrigued to see how this looks in color

I realize it's damn near impossible to schedule these things with this kind of intention so far out, especially considering The Marvels was originally set to release this past summer, but glancing at the schedule I just realized that The Marvels and the season two finale of Loki are both set to premiere the night of Thursday, November 9th. In fact, some of the first showings of The Marvels will be ending at almost the exact same time Loki does. Considering The Marvels is heavily rumored to have a massive surprise cameo (either in-movie or post-credits, and I have no idea who, nor do I want to know in advance), and Loki is apparently supposed to set up Deadpool 3 in some way, it's looking like the 9th could very well be an eventful night for the MCU, one that *might* have even been coordinated (though I doubt it). But one that, either way, will hopefully feel like this is all finally building toward something significant.

I could also, sadly, see none of that coming true. I'm setting my expectations for more of the same so I won't be disappointed. But I'd love to see a plan.
