I haven't seen this week's episode yet, but so far I'd put it in the top third of the MCU D+ shows.Aggie_Journalist said:
How are folks enjoying secret invasion? (No spoilers)
After the past few marvel shows were disappointments, I haven't picked this one up yet, but I'm intrigued

It honestly doesn't look bad at all. It actually looks pretty fun.
The potential issue is that Marvel's big, second-half-of-2023 movie requires the audience to have seen not just Captain Marvel and Endgame, but THREE Disney+ series - WandaVision, Ms. Marvel, and Secret Invasion - the latter two being some of Marvel's least watched series. Obviously, we're reaching the point where any of these movies require a relatively deep knowledge of MCU history, but two of the main three characters in this thing having been introduced on Disney+ seems insane to me, and like it's really going to limit the audience here.
and of course there will be a scene where they compare notes/explain who they are/where they come from.
i mean.. even DS2 only referenced Wandavision in like 2 sentences in the beginning of the movie. the other later story beats tat tied in WV could be inferred by what we got on screen just in the movie..

Speaking of which, can someone explain how seeing light is a super power? I mean, can't pretty much everyone see light? Or was this meant to be some sort of joke?
- Spectral Vision:
After having her cells altered three times, Rambeau gained the ability to perceive various forms of energy beyond the capacity of a regular human, and was able to use this spectral vision to detect mystical energy running through Agatha Harkness's cellar and Ralph Bohner's necklace. When she first got her powers, she could also see the energy coming off of the power lines. Whenever Rambeau's powers utilize, her eyes glow with different colors around her entire iris, turning it into a different color.
Yeah same here, Tom Hiddleston is greatMASAXET said:
I really enjoyed the first season. I recognize the issues Marvel has had since Endgame but will stay excited about this season until proven otherwise.

Galactus being whittled down to a Latino made me laugh.
