I thought tonight's episode was great! Pudi and Mchale were awesome

What the did the diner guy say about the diner rush hour? Something like: "After they get scared by the evening news, many seek comforting foods and soothing music of a pre-racial America."

Overall there weren't a ton of laughs in this episode but it was still a very good episode. I liked how the show set up the viewer to think there was going to be a Pulp Fiction parody, only to end up being a My Dinner with Andre parody. You would never in a thousand years associate those two films, which in and of itself is pretty hilarious.

Its really gonna suck when these guys graduate.

I love Community but I thought last night's episode was terrible. Abed's long rambling speeches were really, really annoying.

What makes this show brilliant is that it never does what you expect, and most episodes have their own unique look or voice. When the episode started with Jeff walking down a city street with his voiceover narration, I knew that this was not going to be a "typical" episode. Most shows have 2-3 locations where 90% of their scenes take place. No part of this episode took place at any location we'd ever seen before.

While we may have wanted more of a "Pulp Fiction" spoof than we got, you gotta admit that Pierce as The Gimp killed. "I'm assuming I'm the hero or the romantic lead?"

Troy: "They said it was 'Market Price!!! WHAT MARKET ARE THEY GOING TO??!?"

Oh, and it was interesting to finally find out where Britta works.

Jeff: "I'll give you $1200 for the damages and you give Britta her job back."
Owner: "I'll take $800 and she's still fired."
Jeff: "Done."

Shirley telling Pierce about the movie, saying she saw it on a plane and it was only about 30 or 40 minutes long and about eat, dancing, and the bible.

"blaacch... which way's the picnic?... blaaach"

Outside of 3/4 jokes I thought this episode was lacking.

Great series overall.

Lots of flashbacks, but some great stuff in this episode!

Loved all the Cape references and the Abed-Pierce montage.

Fake Clip Show

Genius.....

Wasn't the best community but you always have to give them props for trying new stuff all the time.

Agreed. I heard it was a clip show and sad they would do such a thing. Then I was cracking up at the fake clips. the St. Patty's day adventure!

Couldn't fund the thread last week, so a belated thumbs up to that episode.

Wow, I'm an idiot. I've missed most of this season and really thought those were real clips. The thought did creep in to my head that it was fake, but I thought they were deleted scenes from actual episodes.

I was wondering if they were fake clips too. Was wondering if I'd really forgotten that much.

I prefer it that way though. Flashbacks to all the things we've already seen are boring. Showing they 'have a life' outside the show just gives them a bit more depth.

Has another show ever done the fake clip episode? By far my favorite thing about the show is that the writer's really are pretty fearless. I'll take the occasional "meh" episode like the My Dinner with Andre episode.

I agree. This show has a very fresh and original approach. Each episode is very different.

Yeah couldn't find this thread to post after last weeks episode. Not that great but thought pierce and his girlfriend agreeing to have thai food because they are the chinese mexicans made me laugh out loud.

Okay, this show just took the sitcom-standard premise of a character going into labor that needs the other characters to deliver and actually made it damn funny.

The Dean: "After this, we should check out the "World Food Festival" in the parking lot. There are lunch trucks with 18 different nationalities of food. Wait, not different: equal.....equal to whites. You now what? Better than whites."

Random Girl: “We came so close to having one class that wasn’t all about them.”
Fat Neil: “Remember when they all took that fishing trip on St. Patrick’s Day?”
Starburns: “God, that was a good week.”

Pierce: “I want to buy the rights to your handshake.” “Make your money, hoar!”

Abed: “I delivered a baby earlier this year…in the back of an SUV.”
Troy: “What? Where was I when this happened?”
Abed: “I don’t know. Somewhere off in the background.”

The Dean: “I didn’t even know there was a difference between North and South Korean bar-be-que!!!”

Just started watching this show about 2 weeks ago and am already all caught up.

Absolutely hilarious

Chang's stories about his ancestors and the obstacles they had overcome.

"I forgot to mention this, but all Chang babies are born with tails."

Did I hear right that Paintball 2 episode is next week?

this is by far the best comedy on network television.

That was MORE epic than last year's paintball match. Holy crap. This show is amazing.

I think the rival college (is it City College? The one that has been mentioned several times throughout the series) is behind the whole thing. Can't wait for the conclusion next week!!!
