Denver doesn't have the best Mexican food. I am also a basic Mexican and love bean and cheese tacos. I cant find a decent frijole!!! Today i decided to make my own. Im halfway finished with the bacon and realize I don't have cumin. F it all.

FAIL. FAAAAIIIL.

Im never going to have a good taco.

Good Mexican and Colorado don't really go together in my experience. We did find a surprisingly good place in Durango a couple years ago, family was from the pacific coast of Mexico. Different than Tex Mex and very good.

We had a decent place in Pagosa last year, hole in the wall out of the way of the normal tourist spots. Food was good but the beans were terrible. Very bland pintos.
